勇進流刀技術
勇進流とは、宗家・瀬戸天勇宏俊が創設し、柳生新陰流を幹にした居合を中心とした流派です。 居合形・剣術・体術・試斬術など、一般の居合にみられる形だけでなく、その形で実際に斬ることの出来る真の刀技術(勇進流刀技術)を探求しています。 また女性特有の優しさと美しさ・柔軟さを取入れた「勇進流女性居合」にも取り組んでいます。
Yushin-ryu is a school founded by Hirotoshi Seto Tenyu, the headmaster of Yagyu Shinkage-ryu, and is centered on iai. The school is centered on iai, a form of iai, swordsmanship, body techniques, and test cutting techniques, and seeks to develop true swordsmanship that can actually cut with the form of iai. We are also working on “Yushin-ryu josei iai,” which incorporates the grace, beauty, and flexibility unique to women.
柳生但馬守宗矩大宗が出生した江戸柳生新陰流 時代の流れで本家は武の道から遠のき、弟子筋が江戸柳生新陰流を現在に伝えてきました。勇進流刀技術とは、その柳生新陰流を幹にし、宗家・瀬戸天勇宏俊が創設した居合を中心とした流派です。 勇進流一門は、古来からの居合・剣術・試斬の伝統の灯が消えないように守り育て、後に伝えております。

The Edo Yagyu Shinkage Ryu was founded by Yagyu Tajima Muneyori Munenori Daisune, but as time went by, the original Yagyu Shinkage Ryu family moved away from the martial arts and its disciples passed it down to the present day. Yushin-ryu is a school of iai based on Yagyu Shinkage-ryu, and was founded by Hirotoshi Setotenyu, the head of the school. The Yushin-ryu family protects and nurtures the ancient traditions of iai, swordsmanship, and test cutting so that they will not be extinguished.

女性居合について
現在、世界の時流は更なる女性の躍進です。この流れに合わせ、勇進流刀技術宗家・瀬戸宏俊が、女性特有の優しさと美しさ・柔軟さを取入れた「勇進流女性居合」を考案いたしました。居合の対戦相手は目の前の敵ではなく仮想敵(自分自身)です。勿論、技だけでなく、人に対する礼儀や日本古来の武士道にも目を向け、日々研鑽する道場です。
Currently, the world is witnessing the further advancement of women. In response to this trend, Hirotoshi Seto, Soke of Yushin-ryu swordsmanship, has invented “Yushin-ryu Women's Iai,” which incorporates the grace, beauty, and flexibility unique to women.The opponent in iai is not the enemy in front of you, but a virtual enemy (yourself).Of course, we are a dojo where we study not only the techniques but also the courtesy to others and the traditional Japanese Bushido.

入門について
大阪総本部道場を鍛錬の場とし、形だけに
とどまらない勇進流刀技術は真の武士道を
目指しています。
本来、武士は刀を二本差すのが本来の姿で、
刀もしくは脇差だけで外出する事は不行儀
とされていました。勇進舘総本部道場では
当然刀だけでなく脇差も差して稽古を行い
ます。 一太刀、一振、実際に斬る突くを
意識して敵を制する動きを重んじます。
